A + J Montana Engagement Photoshoot

This love story & this day being my first blog post just makes sense. These are some of my favorite humans on the planet & my favorite love to witness. Anna and Jeiven got engaged on their springtime Europe trip in Oslo, Norway this April (a dream, I know). I can’t describe how happy I am for these two -  Anna & I have talked about this moment for years. As long as I’ve been taking photos, I have dreamt of this moment too.

Our day was a perfect adventure & double date (shoutout to my guy for being my content creator & for holding all of my things on this day). We started by driving to Polebridge, MT where we enjoyed dinner, a bear claw of course, and live music. I highly recommended including all of those things on your Polebridge adventure, by the way! Stunned by how green the vast grassy fields and trees were, I knew we had an evening of magic ahead!

After stopping in Polebridge, we headed back down the North Fork Road a few miles to one of the most special places I know - Anna’s family’s property. This magical place served as the most wonderful backdrop to our photos. From the sweet cabins, wrap around porches with to-die-for views, to her grandparents’ swing, and what they like to call the “sunset deck” (for good reason). I was in awe - our dreams coming true. One of my best friends is marrying her person. Inspiration was absolutely overflowing & I feel so lucky that Anna and Jeiven put their complete trust in me to capture this most special time for them.

We danced, we watched the clouds roll over, we laughed, we listened to pump up jams (for an instant confidence boost), and mostly, we enjoyed every single minute. There is something so special about observing a love that you know is so deep, so pure, so everlasting. This kind of love always shines through in a gallery. During our day, I reminded this sweet couple to take it all in… every single second - these are wonderful memories to look back on for a lifetime! To me, these photographs capture their connection so beautifully.

All in all, this day simply could not have been more perfect. I feel so grateful to live in such a gorgeous place, always experiencing the treasures of the Flathead Valley… especially with such wonderful people! Polebridge is one of my new favorite adventure spots, and this gallery is one of my new all time favorites as well. Congratulations to this beautiful couple!
